Tan boots - tactical wear or fashion statement
Tan is a color that we all seem to like. Black we associate with more formal or work footwear and if we have to wear black for work then we go for something completely different for our leisure time. Tan boots come in a variety of different styles and also color surprisingly. Tan is a difficult color to pin down as it can range from a dark sand color to a more orange looking color. Tactical Tan boots tend to be used in desert conditions, and they often have extra ventilation, specialized linings and side zips and laces for maximum ease of use and comfort.
Tan looks great with denims. I have some light Tan boots and love them with jeans. The range of Tan boots is huge and whatever you require, steel toe, waterproof, non-marking sole or even complete metal free construction then you can have just that. On the looks front Tan boots do have the edge over plan black or dark brown.

Of course the military use Tan boots as desert boots as these help maintain stealth if they need it as they blend into the surroundings easily. A desert boot will also perform well in extreme heat, which makes them ideal for any other hot country or location. As a fashion statement only Tan boots are very 'in now' and tend to remain in fashion for one reason alone, they look great. Denims or shorts look great with a Tan boots, especially if it is a light tan.
