If a human weighing 245 lbs was dropped from 90 ft above ground and had zero impact cushion, could he/she live?
some guy on you tube thinks if a Soldier wearing the IBA and other PPE were to fall from the UH-60A at Air Assault school, which is 90ft in the air when rappelling, that he/she could survive that fall. I very highly doubt it.
I was a partrooper and I have seen crazier things happen at much higher than 90 ft. It is possible but not probable. There is a true story of a skydiver's chute not opening and surviving because they landed on their butt in a corn field. I really depends on how you land. I would imagine if they landed on their heads that they could die falling from 9 ft.
