It is a soothing face mask for acne. The ingredients required are 1 banana, 1 tablespoon honey and 5 to 6 drops of lemon juice. If the banana is ripe, then you can leave it in the refrigerator and let it thaw, before you use it. Mash the banana and add honey to it and mix well. Then add lemon juice to the banana mash and apply it on your face. Leave the mask on for 15 to 20 minutes before you rinse it with warm water. Pat dry after washing.
Facial Mask for Acne Recipe # 2
If your skin is severely prone to acne, then you may want to use this homemade acne mask. The ingredients of this homemade face masks for acne are same as the one mentioned in the first recipe. The only difference you will make is, add oatmeal to the mash and then add lemon juice. Apply the mask on the affected part of the skin and leave it till it dries off. Wash with warm water and pat dry.

This is one of the easiest homemade facial masks for acne. I say it is the easiest, as it has only two ingredients. You will make a paste using baking soda with water. Wash your face clean and pat dry. Then apply the paste on your face. Place cotton balls dipped on the eyes and relax, till the mask dries up. Wash with cold water. Use this mask at least twice a week and see your acne disappear.

My favorite facial mask is the egg white mask. The first step is to let the egg come down to room temperature. Upon breaking the egg, separate the white from the yolk. Beat the egg white, till it is soft and frothy. Wash your face, before you apply the mask. When the mask dries up, wash off the mask with warm water. However, it is important to note that do not use this mask, if you have egg allergy.

This is also a simple homemade facial masks. Grate an apple and add honey to it. For 1 medium sized apple, you will need about 3 to 4 tablespoons of honey. Mix apple and honey well. Then apply the mask on the face and leave it on the skin for 10 to 15 minutes. Wash with warm water. If you have a oily skin, do not moisturize your skin immediately afterward.
Facial Mask for Acne Recipe # 6
This is a facial masks for acne scars along with acne. The only ingredient you will use is honey. Clean your face before you apply honey onto it. Leave it for about 15 to 30 minutes and wash with warm or cold water as desired. If the scars are very prominent a few drops of lemon juice can also be added to the honey before you apply it.

What material should I cast a mask out of, that can be painted using acrylic paints.?
I want to create a mask using a clay sculpture. I know I'll need to make a mold, using plaster cement like Ultra-Cal, but I'm not sure what material to use for casting the mask. I'd like to be able to use acrylic paint on it, so I believe that latex or silicone is out of the question. Paper mache wouldn't work either, since I'd like it to have a lot of detail. Any ideas?
Other options:
Resin casting compounds, easily buy able from art and modeling supply stores, you can even ask for light-weight, plastic, durable or rubbery. Spray paint works on those.
As for paper mache not having enough detail, that depends on what you do after wards. If you add use of paper-clay, spread it in an even layer over the item then sand it over and over when it's dry, it's a perfect smooth surface. You can also use paper clay to add decorations to it. The other advantage to mache/paper clay is that you don't need a mold. Just make sure to use a piece of plastic wrap or something so the resulting mask can be pulled off the clay sculpture easily.
