Not Appropriate Office Dress Codes
If your office is a fashion runway or that there is a cocktail party while you work then it would be probably well to be talking about the right dresses a female worker should wear. You might dispute that whatever attire you wear to the office will not affect your performance but does that reason actually be enough? Hollywood depicts women must be presentable enough in the office as what the fashion in Sex and the City 2 rendered. With this argument, it's good to look at some pointers rather than just how Hollywood portrays it. Since we already have used Sex and the City 2 and Hollywood, let's take some arguments from these premises.
Time magazine have pointed out using the fashion depicted in the movie Sex and the City 2 that there are just certain dresses be it considered as a workwear uniform that do not fit to be used in the office for several reasons. In the article from Time, there is a reiteration that although you have the most beautiful body, well-toned shoulders, perfect legs, and a well carved abs there are just simply apparels that you must not be wearing in the office. We take the dresses that were put on by the characters in the said movie and make some points from there.
1. SJP's Shorts – You might have the most beautifully crafted legs but leave shorts at home. It's the safest place you could wear that piece; oh, of course the beach and the shop.
2. SJP's Micro Minis – From the belly up, you may have no problem at all. But if you were told by your boss to lean over at the bottom of the file cabinet to get some files then that's the problem goes in place.
3. SJP's Halter Tops – sure you will look amazing in this dress; of course only during awards night or so. But in office? I don't think so. If you have a female boss and you wear this kind of dress, just imaging the scene in the Devil Wears Prada when Miranda arrived in her office just to find out a woman who's flaunting her dress serving an impression that her taste on fashion equals the boss. Not to mention what would your men officemates would be thinking when you are on this kind of dress.
4. Kim Cattrall's Dress with Cutouts – By showing some parts of your body (that supposedly concealed) would ignite your male coworker's imagination. Oh not unless you want to send an unspoken invitation to them for a date then better leave this dress at home in your closet and wait for just the right occasion when you can freely don this.
5. Cynthia Nixon's Plunging Necklines – Exposing every part of your body is simply not appropriate in the office so is wearing workwear uniforms that is not concealing some skin.
6. Everything Transparent – It's just as if you're saying it's good to be working on your undies. Leave that fashion to parties; spare the office.
7. Seven-inch Heels – Please help your company by not paying you self-inflicted work related injuries by using this type of shoes. Any girl even models fall using this type of shoe.

Tomorrow is dress up like a scientist, detective, police officer, or men in black. I don't really care what to do, just something! I'm not the boring type hah. Oh and I"M A GIRL! So that may make it a little more complicated. And since its at school, it has to be dress code; no trench coats; nothing that could be interpreted as a weapon.

Go to a costume store.
If you can't go to a costume store, make your own badge out of paper for a police officer, a badge could work for a detective too but for the detective I would make and ID card/booklet. If you have a printer, I'm sure you could find templates and other things to print off. Wear navy blue pants and a jacket and for a dectective, maybe brown pants and a brown hat.You could go to a dollar store. They always have police sets and police hats. For a scientist..you could wear a long white coat and do your hair crazy or buy a wing. The dollar store might have the color spray and other crazy hair things that could help. For Men in Black, you could wear a black coat (with pants-like a suit) with a white shirt and a tie with glasses.
