Best army sniping unit?
I am a 15 year old boy who has been intrested in the army for my whole life, I like camping, survival and small game hunting like rabbits and foxes, I have always been facsinated in sniping (which is why i go hunting). I want to join the Royal marines as they are highly trained and one of the best units for sniping aswell, But are the Para pathfinders better? I also want to be a sniper so I can only join the pathfinders if i am in the Army and not the marines, I want to then move up to Parachutist reconnassiance.
I want to be a sniper so wich unit is better.
A little about me: I am above avarge in school and will get good grades, I train at gym 4 times a week and do about 40 minute workout for cardio.
hey 
i would suggest that you join your local army cadet detachment as it not only looks better when you go to join up but you also already have an advantage over the other recruits when you are in you phase 1 training , this is because you learn things in cadets which are things that are taught in phase on e.g skill at arms(SAA) , map and compass and drill AND more importantly you learn to shoot. The staff at the det will also give you info on the matter and help you through every step for as long as you are there (which is from age 12 - 18)
As for becoming a sniper , you firstly have to join either an infantry regiment , paras or marines . from there you have to impress the instructors with your shooting ability,this will not happen overnight or during basic training but its where you show you have the capability for long distance shooting,on joining your unit ,if they have a sniper section then you put your application in,it can and more then likely will take you at least two years before your considered ready.
