Traditionally, baby slings were simple adaptations of anything that could carry a heavy object. The idea behind baby sling carriers was to continue with normal tasks while taking care of the baby in a hassle-free way. With time, a variety of baby sling carriers were developed.

Another type of sling carrier includes wraps style which involves wrapping of the fabric both around the baby and the holder, instead of being tied. This type of slings allows a baby to be carried in the front, back or on the hip of the user.

is my padded sling too small?
i just got my padded sling in the mail today (the slingEzee) and i think it might be too small or im doing something wrong. my baby is only three weeks old and i cant really fit her in the sling like they show on the video. i cant figure out what im doing wrong because the sling should be the right size. how can i tell if its too small or if im just doing something wrong? on the video it said if it was too small it would come up under your armpit when you put it on but mine hits right at my waste like its suppose to. i am at the larger end of the sizing since i just had my baby and plan on losing weight but im still well within the range.
Are they using a pillow in the pictures? I had a receiving blanket in the sling behind our babies to prop them up a bit. They sell sling pillows but they are a waste of money.
It sounds like it hits you where it should, it should always meet at your midsection.
Is there a website? I loved my non-ring slings best- easy to figure out and wear. I am a sling addict!
