Bell and Ross BR 01 Airborne Wristwatch, Scaring but Really Innovative
Firstly appeared in 1992, Bell & Ross is a relatively young member in the Haute Horology World. It belonged to two French designers respectively called Carlos A. Rosillo and Bruno Belamich. At the very beginning, this brand only produced wristwatches for those with professional work like professional divers, pilots and astronauts. In 2009, another stylish superb line was showed in the French boutique. That is an innovative kind of the finest quality and sophistication, produced at limited edition of 500 pieces with the name called Bell & Ross BR01 Airborne. Its purpose is to celebrate the long-term partnership with the French Air Forces who audaciously fought at the frontier in the Second World War to defend their country. This new collection features two opulent and dreadful diamonds, only sold in the Colette shop. Aiming to guarantee the legibility, reliability and excellent performance, the BR 01 Airborne wristwatch integrated the emblematic skull-logo of the airborne divisions. It is a symbol of incomparable power and extreme vulnerability.
This BR 01 Airborne watch has a robust bead blasted steel case finished with stealth carbon power, measured in 46mm in diameter. The black dial is accented with luminescent hands and skull. What is more, it is faced with scratched sapphire crystal glass to protect the dial from damage and dirtiness. It has a waterproof function with the depth of 100 meters, available for the usual water action like showering instead of professional diving and swimming. It is powered by the ETA 2892 to assure accurate timing and excellent performance. It is completed with a black sporty strap crafted from rubber, heavy-duty synthetic fabric and voguish real leather strap.
